Find out how nuclear energy works

  1. you may be wondering how nuclear power works. Nuclear is a steam kind of power plant that uses a radioactive element which is uranium. The uranium is first placed into a reactor. This lets all the little atoms in the uranium split apart. This process is called fission. Fission causes alot of energy so it's able to produce heat and heat water until it turns into steam. The steam then turns the turbine. The turbine powers wires , which forces them to interact with magnetic fields. When this happens it causes an electrical current which makes electricity for all of us to use.
